• Graduation ceremony in the City Hall

I AM AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE STUDENT NOW!! WOHOOOO!! All the graduate students were gathered at 14.00 for rehearsal and photography. The real graduation ceremony started at 17.00. My feet hurt SO MUCH we walked up and down the stairs and with my high heels it wasn't easy. It ended up that me and Louise sat down on the floor when waiting for the walkout (with our big dresses yes, not very glamorous haha). We all were starving as well!! ...

  • Max factor xperience review and a mini excursion with Miss N!

So I returned to my favourite mascara brand, Max factor! I randomly bought one at HM because I had a 20% coupon and saw that there was a new Max Factor collection out that is called Xperience. This collection is very new so there are very few people that have reviewed the products but since I have always liked Max Factor's mascaras, I bought one anyway ...

  • (Almost) Everything about Mei aka Mei Mei

...Usually when I am awake and gets up to make my bed (I sleep with my door closed btw), I often find Mei sitting quietly outside my door waiting for me to come out (so freaking cute). She yawns, stretches and gives me a good morning meow. She sometimes wait outside the bathroom when I'm inside LOL...

  • Let me present my kind of new kitty cat, Taiga :D

I got a new kitten in May 2011 and his name is Taiga (his former name was Lion King, but I didn't really like it... so I changed it haha). He is a lynx red pointed Birman, and is supposed to have quite rare markings. Oh well, not that I really cared for that when I chose him. I chose him simply because of his sweet sweet personality....

Ok here's pictures part 2!

I bought this at the DKNY outlet in Seattle. I actually don't need a trench coat (because I already have one from Zara) but I fell in love! I absolutely love the fabric inside, so soft and comfy! And the price was 900kr ish. Which is ridiculously cheap.

This product is not from Canada but I wanted to show it anyways :) It's my latest purchase! I have always wanted a straightener but have never actually owned one! So I have done lots of lots of research about them because I want a straightener that does as little damage to my hair as possible. I have read about plates that are made of titanium, ceramic, tourmaline etc etc. and of course about the very well known GHD straighteners. However, one thing that is a big NO about the GHD straighteners is absence of temperature control. I don't want to burn my hair with 230 degrees heat! So I googled around about professional straighteners and found the FHI platform straightener that many people seem to recommend.

The features:

- It has a combined ceramic and tourmaline plates (which are the best materials for the plates)
- Temperature control from 60 - 230 celcius.
- Can be used on damp hair
- Floating plates
- Even temperature

I tried to curl my hair on 120 degrees and it became more wavy than curly. Because I have thick asian hair I think the straightener should be on 150 for nice glammy curls :) I haven't tried it out yet but I will post some pictures if I remembers to take pictures XD

So what's my verdict so far? Well, so far so good. I have only used the product once but my first impression is that the straightener doesn't seem to damage my hair that much (well we'll know for sure after one year of usage) because first of all, even though it was on 120 degrees it was not too hot for me to touch the plates with my own fingers.

(OBS!! Okay I didn't do it on purpose first, I just happened to touch them and realised that it wasn't too burning hot. HOWEVER don't do it, you don't want to risk your skin being burnt off :P)

Here's a picture of my sorta wavy hair. I didn't do it all over my hair because I had to go out and didn't have time (had to put make up on etc etc). Oh, and please ignore my nostrils -.-

You can't buy this product in Sweden, but you can order it from UK and price is around 1000kr but you can get it for 800kr at Amazon (be sure to order it from a seller that offers 1 year of guarantee).
