• Graduation ceremony in the City Hall

I AM AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE STUDENT NOW!! WOHOOOO!! All the graduate students were gathered at 14.00 for rehearsal and photography. The real graduation ceremony started at 17.00. My feet hurt SO MUCH we walked up and down the stairs and with my high heels it wasn't easy. It ended up that me and Louise sat down on the floor when waiting for the walkout (with our big dresses yes, not very glamorous haha). We all were starving as well!! ...

  • Max factor xperience review and a mini excursion with Miss N!

So I returned to my favourite mascara brand, Max factor! I randomly bought one at HM because I had a 20% coupon and saw that there was a new Max Factor collection out that is called Xperience. This collection is very new so there are very few people that have reviewed the products but since I have always liked Max Factor's mascaras, I bought one anyway ...

  • (Almost) Everything about Mei aka Mei Mei

...Usually when I am awake and gets up to make my bed (I sleep with my door closed btw), I often find Mei sitting quietly outside my door waiting for me to come out (so freaking cute). She yawns, stretches and gives me a good morning meow. She sometimes wait outside the bathroom when I'm inside LOL...

  • Let me present my kind of new kitty cat, Taiga :D

I got a new kitten in May 2011 and his name is Taiga (his former name was Lion King, but I didn't really like it... so I changed it haha). He is a lynx red pointed Birman, and is supposed to have quite rare markings. Oh well, not that I really cared for that when I chose him. I chose him simply because of his sweet sweet personality....

This picture was requested by miss J, so here you go:

I think my middle finger turned out best

I used the light pink one (the left one on the picture) on a layer of regular nail polish. I tried to make a simple nice pattern, but it was sooo difficult because the brush is thicker than a regular nailpolish. It's pretty cool how it cracks into a random pattern, but it's difficult to apply because it dries SUPER fast.

*UPDATE

New colour combination:

Mavala Hong Kong and Isadora Grafitti

There were some things I needed to buy to Mei so I asked Miss J to come with me to the Zoomarknad in Bromma. The place was huge with so many fun pet things! We saw some cute animals as well (they were totally chilling out) =^^=

Look at the legs haha!

So fluuuuufffffeeeeeyyy!!

Look I bought a fake BURBERRY collar to Mei! It's difficult to see though, because of her fluffy fur lol. I think it looks pretty on her, but mom has a different opinion on that (oh well it's my cat!).

I bought these colourful balls to her as well, but she TOTALLY ignored it! :'( I didn't understand why at first until I saw her grimase when I shoved it up on her face. She kind of wrinkled her nose with an expression saying "eeewwww it stiiiinks". I smelled it, and yes the balls do have the yucky plastic stench! Sooo disappointed!

I got my package from Nelly todaaaay! :D :D :D I bought Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland Limited Edition. It looks like Urban Decay's Book of Shadows, but with a bigger variety of eyeshadows (I think). Urban Decay's book of Shadows consists of mostly glittery or shimmery eye shadows. And I am not a big fan of eyeshadows with too much of glitter.

It's actually my first purchase of a Too Faced product. I have seen their products at Åhléns in Stockholm. But the testers were always so messy and yucky so I never wanted to try anything from them. But I really wanted to buy their Eyeshadow primer (Shadow Insurance) though, because I had heard SOOO many great things about it. However, as a low-maintenance girl when it comes to make-up... I really did not want to pay 240kr for a small eye primer.

Nevertheless, here are some pictures of the product:

I am not going to review this thoroughly, because you can google up sooo many great reviews about this product with loads of swatches. By the way I only found good comments about The Enchanted Glamourland when I googled on it.

A rather childish packaging but still pretty hahaa :)

The only thing I didn't really go "woho!!" over is the blush with golden shimmer. Some people absolutely love shimmery blushes, and some don't - like me. I have never been a big fan of shimmery blushes or lip products. However it looks allright in day light. But when there's yellow-ish light (like indoor) it makes my cheeks sparkle =___= too dramatic for me. The highlighter/bronzer is really pretty though. A little bit too shimmery to be used as bronzer but gorgeous as a highlighter.

I must agree with the many reviewers that this make-up kit is really really great. The eyeshadows are really pigmented and I love the variation of colours and that the palette has 5 matte eye shadows. You will definitely have fun with the colour combinations.

Another great thing about this product is that you get two full sized products as well, the Glamour Gloss lip plumber and The Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I haven't tried the primer yet (I will soon!) but I have tried the lip gloss and I thought it was going to be just another lip gloss that will lay around (and absorb dust). Surprisingly, I really like the lip gloss! Because it doesn't dry out my lips like many other lip glosses and the nude pink colour is pretty on the lips. It also stayed put for many hours without any reapplication. The colour (Pillow Talk) you see on the tube is what you get, meaning the lip gloss is quite pigmented as well.OBS it didn't plumb my lips though, which doesn't matter to me at all.

EDIT: I have tried the shadow insurance now, it's great!

Ps. I will probably not buy any eyeshadows for a veeery long time now hahaha considering how slow I am with using up make-up products XD
