• Graduation ceremony in the City Hall

I AM AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE STUDENT NOW!! WOHOOOO!! All the graduate students were gathered at 14.00 for rehearsal and photography. The real graduation ceremony started at 17.00. My feet hurt SO MUCH we walked up and down the stairs and with my high heels it wasn't easy. It ended up that me and Louise sat down on the floor when waiting for the walkout (with our big dresses yes, not very glamorous haha). We all were starving as well!! ...

  • Max factor xperience review and a mini excursion with Miss N!

So I returned to my favourite mascara brand, Max factor! I randomly bought one at HM because I had a 20% coupon and saw that there was a new Max Factor collection out that is called Xperience. This collection is very new so there are very few people that have reviewed the products but since I have always liked Max Factor's mascaras, I bought one anyway ...

  • (Almost) Everything about Mei aka Mei Mei

...Usually when I am awake and gets up to make my bed (I sleep with my door closed btw), I often find Mei sitting quietly outside my door waiting for me to come out (so freaking cute). She yawns, stretches and gives me a good morning meow. She sometimes wait outside the bathroom when I'm inside LOL...

  • Let me present my kind of new kitty cat, Taiga :D

I got a new kitten in May 2011 and his name is Taiga (his former name was Lion King, but I didn't really like it... so I changed it haha). He is a lynx red pointed Birman, and is supposed to have quite rare markings. Oh well, not that I really cared for that when I chose him. I chose him simply because of his sweet sweet personality....

Good evening! I made this dish by myself! *proud* ad it tastes good! It's chicken, celery and leek!

This is the official week for the school start, I didn't have any classes today but my first lecture starts tomorrow! Eeek I'm kind of nervous, I'm mostly nervous about the group work actually....

My class is FULL with Chinese students, like 50% (or maybe more??). I am not very good at communicating with them because my mandarin is lacking (shame on me) and they are not very good at English (most of them are very nice though... except for the rude and whining girl who acted like a 5 year old). So my worst scenario would be ending up with a group with ONLY Chinese students! There will be communication problems and I will probably be the one in charge of reading everyone's texts and correct the grammar - which is a problem because English isn't even my first language!

Anyways, we'll see... I'm hoping for the best.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I went to the city center with another flatmate yesterday, she's Canadian-born-Chinese but doesn't understand Chinese. She's 29 years old and has LOTS of experience, which kind of made me feel immature lol I went to Forever21 but only bought two basic tops (it was very cheap, the tops cost totally 65kr). It was very tempting to buy other clothes but again, I managed to hold back haha!

There was a small guild event in our hall, students gathered together to get free curry for dinner. To be honest, I hesitated at first because Annie didn't want to go (and she was the only person I knew at that time) but then I thought (or my stomach thought) "Oh whatever, it's free food!!". So I went there and luckily, I met another friend there, her name is Kristy. She's BBC, British born Cantonese. She's only 19 and very sweet haha!

Kristy and I went to the City center/China Town on Monday for shopping and dinner. We went to the Bullring for some window shopping. Well Kristy actually bought a very nice dress at Forever21, the store is H-U-G-E btw! It was a big store with three levels! The clothes were so pretty, but I managed to hold back and didn't buy anything (pats myself on the back).

I bought these ugly slippers at Aldi, they are very comfy though! They cost like 50kr.

(Are you happy now Miss Lim :P)

There are pidgeons outside my window and it's freaking cold here!! The buildings in England are really, really poorly built! Seriously, it's colder in Sweden but it's at least warm inside!! The isolation is poor, and the heater is rubbish (it turns off after 2h, so I think I need to buy an external one in the store).

Other than that, I've met two of my flatmates, they are both from mainland China. One of them, Annie, guided my around the school and showed my all the good shops near campus. She even cooked lunch for me! That was really sweet of her.

I still haven't met anyone that is taking the same programme as me, and the welcome event for international students is already sold our/full...

Anyways, this was just a quick update. I'm going to Aldi to buy a pair of lined slippers because my feet are soo cooold >____<

Oh I'm going to miss my family and my two cats T__T

I will miss my friends in Sweden as well!

I'm leaving my comfort zone today...

I am sorry to say that there will be no HK shopping part 2 blog =__=;; well I really did plan to write one... but then I have been working a lot... etc etc. I am currently busying with my England preparations.

I'm leaving in less than two weeks *PANICKING* and there are soooo many things that I haven't done yet. E.g cleaning my room PROPERLY as in clear all unnecessary things from my drawers and my wardrobe! Oh god, I feel tired just thinking about it.

I am very stressed about the course books as well, I can't find the information about that!! ARGHH and I want to buy them on TIME! (Yes I'm trying to get rid of the bad habit of buying the books after like 5 lessons).

OMG I feel so stressed out just writing this =___=

OH YEAH I HAVEN'T BOUGHT THE RICE COOKER DAMMIT!

Yes it is VERY important to me, I simply can't live without a rice cooker. God bless the rice cooker inventor. It's so super convenient, because it's fast and the rice never get burnt. AND you can also cook another side inside the rice cooker! After 18 min or so, voila you have rice and a dish finished!

Anyways, what a messy blog post. I'm so tired... I need to get the kitties out from my bed so I can get a good night sleep....

Good Night yawn from Taiga XD
