• Graduation ceremony in the City Hall

I AM AN OFFICIAL GRADUATE STUDENT NOW!! WOHOOOO!! All the graduate students were gathered at 14.00 for rehearsal and photography. The real graduation ceremony started at 17.00. My feet hurt SO MUCH we walked up and down the stairs and with my high heels it wasn't easy. It ended up that me and Louise sat down on the floor when waiting for the walkout (with our big dresses yes, not very glamorous haha). We all were starving as well!! ...

  • Max factor xperience review and a mini excursion with Miss N!

So I returned to my favourite mascara brand, Max factor! I randomly bought one at HM because I had a 20% coupon and saw that there was a new Max Factor collection out that is called Xperience. This collection is very new so there are very few people that have reviewed the products but since I have always liked Max Factor's mascaras, I bought one anyway ...

  • (Almost) Everything about Mei aka Mei Mei

...Usually when I am awake and gets up to make my bed (I sleep with my door closed btw), I often find Mei sitting quietly outside my door waiting for me to come out (so freaking cute). She yawns, stretches and gives me a good morning meow. She sometimes wait outside the bathroom when I'm inside LOL...

  • Let me present my kind of new kitty cat, Taiga :D

I got a new kitten in May 2011 and his name is Taiga (his former name was Lion King, but I didn't really like it... so I changed it haha). He is a lynx red pointed Birman, and is supposed to have quite rare markings. Oh well, not that I really cared for that when I chose him. I chose him simply because of his sweet sweet personality....

So there's this haircolour that is called ombre and its the new trendy hairstyle (it has been popular a while a already). It's basically a gradient haircolour from dark to light.
Some people have actually asked me whether I purposely dyed my hair in ombre and i always find it rather amusing... Because i haven't done anything... Except for dyeing my roots in a mismatched colour lol.

Basically I dyed my hair in a slightly lighter brown colour at a hair dresser in Hong Kong. I later bought some Liese hair dye for my black roots, an ashy colour called "Platinum brown". I really like this colour BUT it turned out being darker than my haircolour.

Alright pardon for this ugly picture of me lol I took it when I was really sick and wanted to complain about it on Instagram. I was planning to dye my hair to black because it's a bit bothersome to keep dying black roots... but then I realised, nah it's okay. Let people think I have Ombre-dyed it ^^

Hmm I think it's less brassy in real life, it might be because of the lighting.

Yes i did it again. I saw this blazer/jacket in their spring collection back in March and wanted it so bad! But im quite reasonable (sometimes lol) when it comes to shopping, because i had a feeling that i would find it in their summer sales for a much cheaper price. And i did!! But i was just in time, because this was probably the last small size. I paid 250kr. :)
I want to wear some fun and colourful jackets this Autumn. The weather has been too depressing this summer.

Gold flake nail polish (New Moon) from h&m and black pinkey nail polish from Sasa. The gold flakes dont really show on the picture, it's really pretty though because I like subtle details when it comes to nails.

I have actually been thinking of sharing this a loooong time ago but I always forgot or something else came up. Anyways, some conversations reminded me to write this post. The first conversation that reminded me of this was when my cousin talked about how her hobby seems to surprise everyone. Not because it is a weird hobby, but because it simply doesn't "suit" her image lol she likes to collect different kinds of coins (pounds). I didn't even think about it before she told me this, but apparently UK releases different designs for their coins, especially the one pound coin (unlike here in Sweden... they all look pretty much the same).

So I told my cousin that I collect crystals and stones and she thought it as weird but not surprising to her, probably because we know each other so well. The second conversation was when I talked with some friends in bar about Anime and some of them seemed to be shocked that I liked those things, nerd under disguise??

When I was looking for stones while I was in Canada in those American Indians' shop my aunties couldn't believe I liked those things haha.

So this is my collection so far, not very big because it's a bit pricey to buy these here in Sweden. I have forgotten some of the names lol! American Indians and other ethnical groups believe that different kinds of stones have different powers. I don't really believe that stuff, but I think it's interesting.

My hobby when I was a small kid was to collect pretty stickers and pretty stamps but I stopped collecting those after a while. I think I started to collect crystals/stones when I was around 14 I think... I don't remember exactly when.

Actually I don't have much to write about, I just wanted to share a picture of all the makeup I own. My parents got back from Canada today and my auntie had bought four Benefit makeup products for me! Then I realised how much makeup I have! I remember it started with mascara when I was 17 and then... eyeliner.... concealer.... and A LOT MORE! I have some problem with  storing the makeup now =/

Benefit Ultra Plush: A pretty coral lip gloss (I haven't tried it though... I have too many lipglosses, need to finish them up! Anyways, this one is not shimmery which is awesome!)

Benefit Stay Put primer: A primer for concealers & eyeshadows (comes in handy because I have panda eyes!)

Benefit the Porefessional: Some kind of balm that minimises the appearance of pores

Benefit that gal: A brightening face primer (I will probably use it as a highlighter)

Benefit Coralista: A coral blush (I asked my mom to buy this for me.... and I ended up with this much... as gifts from my auntie lol)

TADA! This is all my makeup, or I might have forgotten to include 1 lipgloss.... my estee lauder blush (it's in UK)... concealer from skinfood that I never use.... oh and my Kanebo powder that I hardly use as well >_<

EDIT: Ok after having heard comments from my friends that my Make-up collection is actually "nothing" I feel so much better ahahaha and I felt even better after seeing picture of their HUGE make-up collection *evil* XD

I got this from my uncle! It's from Walmart, SPA resource vanilla sugar! I asked my mother to buy the body cream and hand cream because I LOVE the smell!! It moisturises well as well! And now I got the whole set haha! Can't really describe the smell... it's not the regular vanilla smell.... it's sweeter and it smells MUCH better XD I'm gonna sniff it all night lol!

I don't know why but a lot people think Mei is a boy! Friends that see pictures of her ask "oh is it a boy?". Another time was when I went to the veterinary with Mei and there was a woman that commented "Oh he looks so cute and fluffy!". When I said it's actually a female, she was a bit surprised "Oh really! I am usually pretty good at telling the gender of cats!"

Even the veterinary thought she was a male cat >__> I've been thinking if it's because she's quite big for being a female cat...? Because ragdoll is a big cat breed, females weigh around 4kg or more (Mei weighs exactly 4 kg) while it is not unusual for ragdoll males to weight 9kg (!).

Mei is fearless, and love heights (but ragdolls are supposed to prefer being on the ground.....)

"I love to jump around and kill mosquitos!"

"Excuse me....me?? a male cat?? I'm a lady!"

And some people have commented that Taiga looks like a girl! XD well he's actually a bit of a coward compared to Mei haha

"Hey I'm actually 0,2kg heavier than Mei!!"

I have been using the Maybelline New York Pure Cover Mineral Concealer for about two years or so and I absolutely love this product. So I was devastated when Maybelline decided to discontinue this product!! Instead, they have launched the SuperStay 24hr concealer which I though would be similar to the mineral one. But I was WRONG :( the formular is too dry for me and becomes easily caky under my eyes! And I need to be careful when applying because otherwise it becomes patchy on my skin.

So I did some research on AFFORDABLE good concealers. I mean, okay I know how people rave over the Bobbi brown concealer and MAC, and I'm sure they are great and so on.....but these are way over my concealer budget.

During my research I came across Soap and Glory's Kick Ass Concealer which has got pretty good reviews. Boots were doing promotions so I bought it and got 30% off. The original price is £10 which I think is sliiiightly expensive, because it's not much product you get... but it is really a great concealer so I guess it makes it more worth for money!

There are three steps: Use the slightly darker salmon shade to neutralise dark blue undertone under your eyes and then the lighter shade to blend it. Finish it off with the set powder on the top. HOWEVER I prefer not to use the set powder because it makes the skin too dry and sometimes caky. But I guess people with really oily skin under the eyes would like applying it on the top. I use the set powder on my eyelids instead as a base, it is really good for a smoother eyeshadow application.

Super-pale-me of course chose the light one and I really like how it comes in to two shades so that you can mix it up depending how tan/pale you are. It is surprisingly really smooth! I usually avoid cake concealers because they tend to feel quite dry on your skin. But I felt a bit adventurous and wanted to give it a try and I am happy I did :D because it blends easily into you skin and it is really creamy. Cake concealers are generally more pigmented than liquid concealers so you don't need much product.

I really like the small mirror btw :)

I haven't used any primer or base, just the concealer on this picture.
